Samhain Visitation

Samhain Visitation:
The whisper of a spirit is heard ever so near
Communication is easily done this night
Starting out with a lit candle
Moving into deep meditation.
The energy is building like a thick fog
A cool breeze lifts at your skin
A loved one enters this world
The bridge is connected for a few hours.
A Supper is eaten in silence with the deceased
Each bite representing a memory
Flashbacks come easily this very night
The happy times that were shared together.
The candle lit for the spirit is growing dim
Final words and thoughts are exchanged
Last of the communication is brought to the worlds
The bridge lifting little by little like the moon.
Now it's time to bid goodbye
The veil is lifting slowly over the air
The wind blows gently like a hug til next year
When you can reunite for one night yet again.
