My Bed

This spell loves to envelope me.
It tempts me to come to another world.
"This one's too rough, " the voice says.
"Come away with me to your world."
I want to take its hand
But I have too much here.
Too much in this life crushes my soul.
Too often to I feel like I'm dead.
I don't speak of death, but I need to rest.
I want to go back home to my bed.
It follows me everywhere.
Whipsering softly into my weary head.
It tries so hard to pull me down
And I want to go to that world.
I want to take its hand,
But I have you right here.
Too much in this life takes me down.
Too often I'm losing my head.
Take me in your arms. I just want to rest.
I want to go back home to my bed.
The nightmares and horrid thoughts
Kept me from my world.
But then your voice came into my head,
And I once again returned to my bed.
I want to take its hand,
But not without you by my side.
Too much in this life wears me out.
Too often I take another quest.
Come and take me home and help me to rest.
Will you take me back to my bed.
