You are nothing like my family.
They make me what I'm not.
They buy me clothes I hate.
They run (or try to run) my life.
But you,
You reveal my true form and
You brag about it.
You let me live my life.
Have I affected you that much,
That you'd do this all for me?
You are nothing like my friends.
Sure they accept me too,
But they try to rule me,
And take advantage of me.
But you,
You freed me.
You don't put me down.
You protect and defend me.
Have I changed you that much,
That you'd do this all for me?
You are nothing like him.
He only wanted me body.
And he cast me to the wind
When he was satisfied.
But you,
You remade me and healed me.
You cared for and caressed me.
You admired me for everything.
Had I fallen in love with you that much,
That you'd do all this for me?
You are the only one.
You don't try to hide me,
You don't rule over me,
You don't lust for me.
But you,
You only take care of me.
You only heal me.
You only love me.
We have changed each other so much,
That we did everything for the other.
Author's Notes: To my boyfriend, who has always been there for me. He has affected me so much because I have affected him in ways that he says no one ever could. I love him so much.
