My Sister: The Lighter Side

I remember calling you the annoying pest,
Who did nothing but invade me
I thought you were once trying to make me miserable.
All those times I pushed you away,
But you still kept coming.
You wanted to break my walls.
You just wanted to know.
I remember you being my greatest enemy,
Who just kept harassing me.
I believed you wanted to break me.
All those times I fought against you,
But you still kept fighting,
Just for me.
You wanted me to be strong.
I remember you acting like a demon,
Who tried to drag me to Hell.
I imagined you saying I was nothing.
Every time, I said I hated you.
But you never meant what you said.
You wanted me to know
You still loved me.
When I think of the times that you would be gone,
I figured, "Finally. She's gone for good.
Now I can be at peace."
Little did I realize how wrong I was.
You're still my sister.
Whenever I pushed you away, you always came back.
You want me to live... like you do.
