A Whirlwind of Fire and Curses

In the distance,
where the Great Tree of Life blooms
The earth throws blossoms and thorns
Into the threshold of its boughs.
In the foreground,
where the Creepers burst into being
The earth is a blossom and then a thorn.
We are children and then carrion -
Our bones littered the earth like diamonds,
Lifetimes before we chose this life -
We dug into the clay and become one with the Mater
Our visions escaped into the heavens
Looking backward through the final moment
The great dream breathed through us and named us Sol.
We were first wise serpents and then the birds of paradise.
We were first seemingly fallen, and then rising saw our own nature.
Yet neither Earth nor Paradise exist - when a curse is a blessing, and a disaster is an opportunity, and what is menacing becomes promising.
There is no pain for you, my Sacred Serpents. For you have not yet risen.
You have not yet awakened, oh Phoenixes of the Spirit World. So you are dreaming, dreaming of tomorrow.
Here in this whirlwind of cursess... cursess... you can choose to be burnt, or step through.
But do not swallow what you do not know -
Or vomit a world of agony and relief.
Yet in the treacherous winding.
Which knows not which way it goes or which name it bears,
One are We with the Fire in the Earth.
And the Living Storm above the Seas.
We are strange and yet unknown,
A Disaster of All Life's Beauty
An explosion of color on a dirty canvas.
Soon to be sketched into the final picture
Yet just a radical metaphor in the beginning.
Somehow breathing the space of all moments, we do not die, for we are the Breath of life.
Somehow catching fire, we are not scarred, for we are the Flame.
Somehow burning out, we are not dispersed, for we are the Movement.
Somehow going nowhere wave after wave, we remain infinitely still, for we are the Vastness.
Somehow remaining yet unknown, we continue,
for we are this Earth.
and we are not a curse... and can never be.
{For You are alive and knowing, mighty and living, cold and beautiful, warm and passionate. You are life's infinite potential, you are life's infinite becoming.}
