A sestina that hardly means anything

when the world is wild
and it screams out like a child
I wish for a room that is styled
like an old silent movie with a mild
grainy tint. I love when the quiet is piled
like softly mewing kittens, with their claws newly filed.
children at the end of the day filed
by the door, waiting to be freed, wild
with expectation for a summer of exploration, piled
with activates to fill every second. oh to be a child
meek and mild
without a choice on how you will be styled.
styled
to grow as your parents see fit. Filed
into lines, to give a semblance of order and the mild
militarism tames our id, the wild.
the purity of a child
becomes the fodder neat and piled,
ready to be piled
into the politicians maws, styled
into battle cries and anthems. the child
is what we die for. our hopes filed
to steel points of swords and bullets wild
with rage enough to corrupt even the most mild
these not so mild
sentiments have piled
themselves within me, and my wild
mind has twisted and styled
them into this poem before you, filed
into form and structure that tries to hold the child.
but the child
will prevail our rules and with mild
smiles will have their claws filed
to harmless nubs. and pick up their jackets that have piled
by the door of the school house styled
with their monograms so they can’t forget their names and become wild.
Author's Notes: try number two! and i made it extra crazy by having each end word rhyme! oh the insanity
