The Hall of Ages

The Hall of Ages
Where titan forms of massive stone burrow through the ages
Rock conforms to icons in a graphic room of sages
Skies below the earth and 'neath we see within our sleep
Titans and the Heroes kept within a single keep
Trumpet roars a holiness - a life-song finally
Each soul undoes each lock and feels the fitting of each key
Midnight comes to holiness, in moment's final hold
That highlights every second with the hidden tint of gold
We walk the hall of Giants and of Gods within a night
Shining in the Radiant Eye, beneath a diamond spotlight
Memory protrudes with sights, all of them holy, vast
Yet fashioned in the Atom, and each point of the Past
All of our lives are one Life, within the Sacred Dream
In Heaven underneath the Earth, in cool and liquid Stream
And in the Stream is the Garden, and in its Grove the Gate
And in the Gate is one small Stead, and in its footsteps Fate
That lead to a growing inside, into a City of Dreams
Still following the River, diverging into many Streams
For in one drop within your blood, you keep the Hall of Ages
Of saints that smile in the dark, the heroes and the sages
And past the City is the point where all things dance as One
Like the core within our Earth or center of our Sun
Both must twist together in a sommer-saulting wheel
The Hall moves with its many rooms and many sights reveal
On each wall is a door way, through each door is an Art
Connecting all Time, sleep and wake in Dream inside the Heart
Look for its Holy Picture, the Mind - its Hall of Ages
Know the call of the holy trump awakening all sages
All of us were taught a song, I cannot write it here
Whose thoughts are "hope" and "finally" within the shifting mirror
That pulls the veil back from the void and the telling face of the dream
Beneath Me, Hall of Victory, follow the living stream . . .
Below, Above, Inside me, Giant Hall of Ages
The Statues and the Memories of We, the Gods, the Sages . . .
Face the Lover finally, the Hero of your Heart
And taste your immortality, your Nectar, Soul and Art !
