The Fifth Element
I am Air,
Element of thought
Gatekeeper of the East
tracing pleasure
across naked flesh
a shudder, so inspired.
I am Fire,
Element of Passion
Gatekeeper of the South
of dancing light and revelry,
crackle and heat.
Penetrating as tongue
to trembling mouth,
hungry and ecstatic.
I am Water,
Element of Intuition
Gatekeeper of the West
Blood and Life Force,
powerful and vast.
Cleansing as the falling rain
and deep, as the filled vessel.
I am Earth,
Element of Nature
Gatekeeper of the North
of dirt beneath feet,
the language of trees,
and a flower in Spring
bursting open
like the arms of Love.
I am Akasha
Element of Spirit
Gatekeeper of the Core
the essence of All.
A Circle of Energy flows
through the Entrance
of Mystery's Door.
Secrets that ripple
through each particle
of space and time
of affirmation
of connection
of infinity.
