I am an older woman
you do not know my name
I've been around for quite some time
and I know all your pain
I'll come and greet you near and far
with the longing of sunshine's flight
I'll come and listen to the beat of your heart
within the dark of night
You do not stand alone my friend
a single tick of the clock
I am an older woman

I am the mother of all mothers
the first star in the sky
I've been around for quite some time
and always at your side.
