Waning Moon
by The Night's Lover

The full moon is caught in the clouds
Nothing showing in the dark sky above
Nothing can help Mother Nature’s natural temper
Nothing can tame her
No sign of a dove
No life or love
The night is cold as the moon’s absence is elapsed
Can the world be so vindictive?
The moon must live
Her shine is fading
The song stopped playing
Restart the record
Give another chance
Let me make my wrong a right
Correct this evil night
The song must play
Or here I will stay
Give life a chance
Give love a chance
Give ME a chance
Her shine is fading
The song stopped playing
Restart the record
Let life live
