Love Also A Knife

Never dreamed
When you pulled this dragon’s tale
Ye’d be asking for a broadsword
So I sewed a fang to bone
Left the scabbard in this world
Tooth hid the astral plane
That you always remember
The dark side of things
And the light and then
Become this Illusion
In one wind of the storm
I never lied to you
And yet the truths we guarded
Through world orders off gaurd
And we became not ourselves
For a while Fae cries
Clamored by Herne’s hill
I was no cat in the tempest
Of war dogs howling the moon
Still a melody of song harmonized
May’s smoking still stinging my eyes
Singed lightly with a tear of doorknob dreams
Came lions marching in with
The smile of hope over hospital beds
And karaoke blind melodies run away
Wisping the wings of night’s wine
To swallow what lies back to sleep
Dark phoenix flame trails in my Mind
THIS BLADE is also a diagram
Cryptic clues to a love light like a tool
Pulls galaxies away into moonlight
In your blood, to be free from veils
Love one fear that never hurts you.
