The Path I Took

Age Group: Adult
The path I took in life,
It was dark,
Ends up it was I that was the shadow,
My path became messy,
The kind of path with a great amount of pain,
So very little gain,
Then it began to rain,
Dark Rainy Painful,
What a path of life I took,
No wonder used drugs,
Fought fights with wanna be thugs,
But in the end or what was a near end,
Was a shiny knife,
Embedded to the hilt in me,
Yes this was odd I do agree,
Every moment I regret not taking that path of light,
Not one minute,
But every three I desire that life,
The one without hate and strife
