My Life

Age Group: Adult
Of all the things that I should care for,
You would think I should care about my life,
My life of hate, pain, sorrow, and drugs?
Hell, I would rather face a city full of thugs,
Better yet I would rather eat a bunch of live stinging bugs.
Why care for my life?
The one that is constantly filled with strife?
The one that was once filled with guns and many a knife?
What is that to many other people who have not eaten?
Or for those that parents daily beat'em?
Tell you one thing,
They wont spare a tear or a thought about it,
They wouldnt care not abit for they were caught,
Caught in the ghetto's and slums of life.
To them those who complain about life,
While they live the high life,
That are feeling safe and nice and dry,
They would rather kill those beings with a knife,
Why would they want that?
Because they're life makes mine look clean,
and If I am clean in life,
Then everyone else in life has a sparkly gleam.
So enough complaining,
I plan to bury my old life and move on,
And from now on I will start my life story with once upon,
And end it with happily ever after,
Just to make things feel great,
Even if I end up having a horrible fate.
