Anywhere But Here

Into the dark night
They ride upon eagle's wings
They know nothing of might
And serve a moniacle "king"
For the gods speak the outcome,
The players hands will fold
No country can be outdone!
(The oil, is the gold.)
Who is it? I ask,
Who makes all the rules?
Who's behind the mask?
Who puppets the fools?
Thru to the end
There's loss and despair
How far will we bend?
How much do we care?
Complacency the norm
How should we feel?
After a rough wave in the storm
What about the field?
When he lies helpless,
She will be revealed.
Who said it was
anywhere but here?
