Mist reflecting the sky's clouds on water
wonderful fear and release
Just another fake vision - or is it?
Old man recites the stations of the cross
many years of pain reflected.
Thoughts of one - wandering and wondering
resolve found within a note.
A trust and love, faithful and unconditional reamins intact
despite hurt and disappointment
Respect admiration, desire unshaken
thoughts, actions, passions
~Still burn with fire
A new venture, still on hold
No rest for within
the brain, still doesn't shut down
What does it mean?
Do I react?
Keep my mouth shut?
How do I hide my face when it shows pain?
How do I mask my eyes when they show hurt?
Stomach it, swallow it, shove it away....
Let nothing bother, bury it inside.
Stand tall, despite it all.
Be strong, breathe, and focus on everything else.
Show nothing.
Practice with a gameface
no way to retrace
the part of me that's died.
The music still plays as I begin
The game once again~
Love exists - but only in
Those who truly know pain
And know to appreciate it~
Fire cleanses, and regrowth begins
Under the soil, you are safe
from pain, hurt and sorrow, strife and toil.
Rise up, fight the pain
begin once again~
Hide it all, rise and stand tall
Evil rears its ugly head
Fail the tests,
your soul winds up dead....
NOT AN OPTION!
