Alone, I strive for peace of mind.
You are always there, my strength:
in every thought, in every breath.
in every waking moment, every dream.
You are a constant in my sea of change.
The rushing creek whispers your name
in the chill of the silent slumbering mountain.
The stars spell it, and a meteor underlines it.
Though miles apart, technology brings you to me.
Your words, tease and taunt my brain
as if your fingers and lips
were here to calm, yet excite me.
Closer than that of a 6th sense - you.
Engraved visions and physical sensory thought - you.
Awaiting that of wild abandon and incredible enchantment - you.
Peace of mind, one thought - you.
