Sleep

Sleep is the only time I find comfort in the time we are apart.
I go to the tree, in the field, near the cliff, with the crashing ocean below, to meet you.
Daylight is filled with new thoughts and dreams of wild abandon.
Evening is filled with discussion and realization of feelings once many times denied,
no longer meant for denial.
The night is definitely torment, but one I will gladly endure a thousand lifetimes
to know I will see, hear, and feel you once again....
I would live a thousand lifetimes in torment just to hear you whisper my name...
