I Can Still Taste the Moonlight

I can still taste the moonlight.
I can still feel the chill in the twilight air.
I can still feel the strenght
the surging mass force
tearing through the atmosphere
like paper strings
tugging a little
but never pulling me down.
I can still feel that moment when air
sucks back
rocking me to the core of my ribs
then realize I do not need breath,
I am breathing the stars
breathing the biospheres
breathing the planets
that rock and quake
move and shift
in split second centuries
I feel veins growing
popping like hot tar
the sun a glowing giant through the spinning black
of nothingness filled to the brim
a dripping void
where All that Is
takes All that Is Not
as a celestial partner
in passion
in crime.
All I need is to drink the sun
to breathe the stars
to awaken to lungs of flesh
with moonlight on my breath.
