Valkyrie Horn

Standing still among the shadows
as the blood seeps in the moor,
I cast aside my shield and armor
and I raise a crimson sword
to the blood moon as she rises,
to the warriors gone before.
I will lie beside my kin,
I will rest within the moor
In the moon I see the fire
of a thousand swords.
I will battle til victorious
I will rest within the moor.
I will battle clothed in crimson
of the moon and of my foes.
I will battle until broken
I will rest within the moor.
I will raise up like the morning
I will rise with the dawn.
I will be forever riding
to the cry
of Valkyrie horn

This poem was a dream, a very vivid dream, the sort that haunts you for years...
