Coffee Swirls

the soft spoken happiness
hidden within the morning
coffee swirls and cakes,
does not shout of its presence
does not loudly proclaim its delicate beauty
does not scream out its marvelous intricacies
nor its carefully untailored Ecstasy.
it merely sits aside, as you awake
from the Reality of dreamland
and pour the cream and sugar of your soul
into the brown Matter of life.
and so is the precious simplicity of
the soft spoken happiness
in coffee swirls
