Caramel Dreamland

Age Group: Adult
n a world where princes ride white stallions
and carry roses in their breast pocket,
watch apples fall from majestic oaks
bathed in caramel and chocolate.
where sunlight meets the emerald lawns
cherries spring to life
and sing Christmas carols in July.
elephants march proudly across the sky
with diamonds in their eye.
the fireflies trapped in the blanket of the night
still shine with pride in the daylight,
a compliment to the sun’s angel rays.
trees wave their long arms toward the clouds
trying to catch dreams
in their fingertips.
