You Come To Me

We speak,
you come to me
on a wing and a prayer.
We spend the early morning twighlight
entwined in mind
entangled in each other
The dawn awakens as the sun
peaks between mountains
and rises above water
The river, and its roaring,
encompasses the passions on its bank,
next to the castle wall.
The winged creatures
soar high above,
searching for something
as we search for the same;
-answers within each other
-something to fill the hunger,
that desperately lurks inside.
We travel to be completely alone.
We find passion and solace in each other,
as a lost man, finds God.
You come to me with that 'knowing' look in your eyes.
You know; the want, the desire, the need...
Your embrace, your heat -
so comforting, yet, so wild.
I know what I want, yet,
the idea of surrendering to you
overrides everything I truly know.
Finally, I give in to you.
I become yours as you awaken the passions
locked away for so long.
As I've dreamt of this day, you call my name.
I'm brought to life as you play my body
like your instrument.
It is so overwhelming-
The thoughts, the actions, the strong desires
at last acted upon...
We find each other exhausted,
holding each other,
we once again find comfort in embrace.
We dine together in the realm of nature,
then rest...
I awaken in your arms, and smile inside.
As the winged creatures searched to quench
thirst and hunger,
I as well have found a source for
enlightenment.
A power not tapped in centuries,
the passion revived,
once thought lost, yet recovered
by a single touch of your sanctimonious glance
The desire to learn, grow... know more.
The sustenance for my mind
The candle that lights my inner core
is once again aflame, to warm the empty
cave of ice,
known as my heart...
Yet, I remain guarded.
Another stone added to the kingdom's wall,
Another bar removed from the inner cage,
of my own prison cell.
I long for our next encounter,
and am happily haunted,
with the images
of what is to be.
