YESTERDAY
1) When we were kids
Our parents taught us respect
When we were teens
We caused a couple of wrecks
2) Now we're adults
Forgive us for our faults
We're not as perfect As we'd like to
be
CH) Now lately, I remember how we played in your back yard
Out in your pool, and runnin' fast along the beach
But now that's all outta reach
Your photographs on my wall...
3) Remember school lunch boxes
And how we traded meals
Remember midnight movies
And 9 cases of beer
4) Now we goto bed early
So we can make ends meet
It's not as fun as it used to
be
