Rhainnon

Age Group: Teen
A moon hangs full in the sky,
above the forest and the brook.
A figure stands by a willow tree,
she stands graceful and free.
Hair as dark as the raven sky,
Eyes that shine like the stars,
Skin as white as the moon,
Voice as soft as its light.
Her beauty eerie and divine,
Her form elegant and fine.
Yet for all her grace,
A strom of sorrow is upon her face.
Events have happend beyond her will,
the cruel acts of fate.
Things were took without fright,
Things were stolen without a fight.
A light she bore into the world,
He was taken in the night.
For seven years she shall mourn,
Untill things are made right.
Author's Notes: A tribute to Rhainnon and part of her story.
