i followed the path

i followed the path
as it twisted around
turning and turning
i followed it round
i followed the path
into neighboring towns
i met many others
tried on many crowns
i followed the path
finding beauty in all
but deep in my soul
was a beckoning call
so i followed the path
from the mountains to sea
and at the end of the path
what i found there was me!
