I am Deity

In the night sky I see a moon so large it covers the horizon
And when I speak to the Goddess I hear her voice within
I can feel myself existing in her light and her in my soul
To be her consort and express my own divinity is my role
My Ka is the God, the Goddess and the Ancient ones
A small part of each is within me and I’m one of their sons
All of this power, glory and divinity is locked up inside me
With intent this potential can be realised and Wicca is the key
In the mirror of life and the universe my soul does reflect
The images I see fill me with awe, humility and self-respect
There are those who are obsessed with magickal power
This makes me smile for without spirit it will only sour
What use is it to fly a broom if you can’t taste the breeze?
Or to confidently hurl fire-balls if your heart is a deep-freeze
If you have no heart or soul and a Deity you try to invoke
Give it up my friend because you are only a very poor joke
Make very sure that when you use magick, your intent is pure
Lest it will come back thrice and turn your karma to manure
So it appears that Wicca is not the faint-hearted, shallow or weak
To serve the Ancient ones, do magick and with wisdom to speak
