Rain Spell

Rain Spell
Thor struck the anvil with his mighty hammer
Black clouds towards the sound began to clamber
The parched earth below heard the thunder’s call
And waited in desperation for the first drops to fall
Light from the sun disappeared and all became dark
Zeus’s lightening bolt flashed across the sky in an arc
The Gods had heard our pleas and answered our call
The first drops shyly left the clouds and began to fall
Their speed and intensity grew to a veritable deluge
All the little people along with the insects sought refuge
We need the rain and we must visualise it with intent
In your mind hear the thunder as it the skies rent
Feel the drops on your skin and smell the moist air
Imagine it with power as strongly as if you were there
In your mind’s eye see the rain run down to the stream
Watch the water flow to the dam and know it isn’t a dream
The dam will slowly fill and eventually it will overflow
See it so clearly that in your spirit the picture will grow
Add your energy and magick to mine and together
We can prevail in our quest to change the weather
