The Goddess' Team

Life has its days, its ups and its downs
There are both many smiles and frowns
But each day my heart yearns for you
With green eyes and red hair so true
To be together and share each other’s day
To look into your eyes and hear all you say
Then to feel your lovely shape as we hug
Our spirits comfortable, happy and snug
The taste of your lips lingering after the kiss
Not being with you is my pain and all I miss
My life incomplete and my love unrequited
Till the glorious day when we are reunited
In my dreams we stand in joy, hand in hand
I dream while the hourglass moves its sand
Then I will fly to you and take you in my arms
Kiss you, hug you and savour all your charms
Then we can set about doing the Gods task
Your book of spirituality is what they ask
For me to support and make your life good
With love and ideas as well as shelter and food
All my love and life
