Pentacle of The Gods

One point for water, the roar of the mighty sea
The babble of a brook and mist caressing me
This cool elixir is relief on a hot thirsty day
And is the substance that binds and holds clay
One point for fire, the warmth and love of the sun
The campfire around which we gather in joy and fun
Passion and love for life and the courage to express it
Thawing us on those icy days with its glorious heat
One point for earth, the sustainer of life for all
Mother to all plants and creatures large and small
Love that lasts and will for all eternity endure
A strength we can rely upon and always be sure
One point for air, the breath of inspiration and reason
A teasing playful breeze twirling your hair in the windy season
The cold wind of reality curbing and balancing our dreams
Ideas blowing in with intuition that sparkles and gleams
And the last point for spirit, that which is the essence of man
That which enables us to appreciate the gifts of Hecate and Pan
Within each of us lie the four elements and the Gods as well
We think, we dream and become Gods, this we can all tell
Then we have the circle combining all the points of the star
Holding us together in love so we know who and what we are
The circle of life the circle of day and the circle of the seasons
Mysteries of nature and life where only fools try to give reasons
Love
