The Human Virus

Age Group: Adult
A cancer spread across the mother’s face
The destructive force of the human race
Destruction and waste the form of the blight
Each man believing pompously in his inalienable right
The mother writhed in her man made pain and sighed
While the virus ripped her heart and tainted her hide
Even a mother’s love has a limit and turns to hate
To destroy selfish man and wipe clean the slate
This scenario is disgusting and sad but true
Nature must cull man and spare only a few
How did this state of affairs come to pass?
When man substituted concrete for fair grass
We know that this ugly nihilistic seed
Was planted by man’s unquenchable greed
His testosterone nature that must always compete
What ever you do I do better, all you do I must beat
Tis the ego, the I, Myself and glorious me
That imprisons all so that I can be free
Now is the time to cease the spiritual slash and burn
To see our destructive deeds and from them to learn
