I am Yours Always

Hearts are broken and the tortured soul cries
Despair may well up but true love never dies
A desperate man a curse of paranoia, did spell
Keeping two lovers apart, he did his work well
To be with you was always my one and only desire
Seeking not fame or office, your love my only fire
Your empathy stilled or twisted by malicious intent
Our hearts and souls by false ideas so cruelly rent
Dreams every night of your beauty, my one and only lover
Pain and jealousy knowing you share your bed with another
My desire to hold you in my arms and kiss your sweet lips
The power of our passion though the fabric of reality rips
Memories of our fulfilled bodies and co-joined souls
Burn eternally in my heart hotter than any flaming coals
Your lovely green eyes reflecting the fire of your red hair
My hand in yours as together life’s pleasures we do share
A new start with unending love, dedication and perfect trust
The birth of a humble new coven rising from ashes and dust
No more wars, feuds or jealousy inducing conflict and hate
Serving only the Gods, our vows, our pleasure and our fate
Training witches for the Gods our simple vows
To accomplish the Gods’ plans and not ours
To be with you every day for all of my life
Sharing all our joys, troubles and strife
Facing the world together as a loving pair
Tackling tasks that very few would even dare
Your loveliness will always give me strength
Lighting my dragon to soar and fly to any length
I will lift you higher that you could ever dream
To taste happiness and lick away it’s divine cream
