What could have been ....
Age Group: Adult
Today ..... this fine day of December
It could have been a day to remember
Today would have been a wedding day
But he has decided to back away
He went off in a haste
Being involved not his taste
He promised love and devotion
But left all in total desolution
Sorry love I have to leave
A heart broken and full of grieve
Have to again pack belongings
Looking for more appropriate lodgings
The ring you can keep he says to me
Not looking back in his quest to flee
And today just wondering
On which path he is meandering
Wanted him, could have loved him
Gave him devotion and cared for him
The character of man what a protrayal
To leave ............... his betrayal
