The Morning Horizon

The morning horizon stretched itself to all eternity
On it there was a little fire cloud looking for his destiny
There was a hush of expectancy as all awaited the sun
The great bringer forth of life, warmth, love and fun
Spirit of the sun we await for you to arise and fly higher
Bringing to us all of your beauty, warmth, courage and fire
Life on earth cannot be until touched by your warm rays
Come oh beautiful one, you are the start of all my days
Re-enter my life and bring with you your glorious light
With you shining on me, life will be wonderful and bright
At last she made her entrance clothed in brilliant scarlet
Her great beauty and brilliance outshining any starlet
From her eyes and mouth with joy she did beam
A smile so exquisite that I mistook it for a dream
Touched by her warmth is like being kissed by a flame
Once you have felt this, nothing can ever be the same
Caress this little cloud so a little of my rain will fall
Wetting the earth and giving love and life to one and all
Life is always a choice so come with me, be empirical
Together we can obey The Gods and choose the miracle
