We carry unique books on subjects such as spirituality, world awareness, nature & environmental concerns, women's studies, divination, and more. Our constantly changing and growing inventory includes CD's, crystals, incense, statuary, candles, tarot cards, beading materials and hand-crafted jewelry. We pride ourselves on providing a showcase for local fine artists and artisans, as well as on offering various classes and workshops on subjects such as beading, herbalism, tarot, creative writing, drama and much more. We also host a once a month open-mike night themed to seasonal celebrations and awareness, providing a safe and nurturing environment for local creatives. Future plans include adding an aromatherapy bar for patrons to experience the fun and joy of creating their own personlized herbal and aromatherapy blends, individual tarot readings, and the Collector's Corner - a chance for vintage comic book and gaming enthusiasts to purchase items, share thoughts and ideas, and participate in events such as gaming tournaments. More than a mere shop, Asteria is meant to be a peaceful, safe, magickal haven and gathering space. Our newsletter, The Oracle, will be available in upcoming months, and a website will soon follow. We encourage all who are interested in what we provide and in supporting this gentle and peaceful space to vist or to contact us.
