Shop Profile: The Occult Bookstore is the nation's oldest and most respected esoteric and metaphysical shop. Proudly serving local Chicago as a magickal institution since 1920, we've recently moved to our new storefront location at 1164 N Milwaukee Ave (at Ashland and Division) ,
Offering rare and newly published books in the Arcane Arts and a myriad of metaphysical accessories, subject matter available for the serious practitioner, hobbyist and curious alike including divination, astrology, eastern mysticism, paganism, magick, UFOs, African Diaspora and similar interests. An inventory of stone statues, incense, oils, jewelery, candles, crystals and other curios is also available.
Classes and workshops available include Magick Class: The Hidden Tradition, European Witchcraft, The Craft and Magick and the Legacy of Sumer.
