Shop Profile: Earth Spirit opened in May of 1991 and has gone on to become the center of metaphysical and occult merchandize, workshops and services in the Central Jersey area. There is a reader on staff daily specializing in tarot, astrology and channelled readings and there are several ongoing workshops at night as well as workshop series and one time events.
This fall we will be having a beginner Wicca class taught by Lady Brigid Anu of the Ancient Minoan Sisterhood.
Earth Spirit has a large supply of candles, incense, oils, books, music, gemstones, jewelry, tarot cards, statues, devotional objects, pendulums, loose herbs, chimes, yoga mats, massage oils and magical tools. The store is owned by Joycelyn Midose and her son Christopher Midose. Joycelyn specializes in channelled spiritual readings and runs a weekly spiritual development group. Christopher is a research member of the American Federation of Astrologers with over 20 years of experience and along with giving tarot and astrology readings he teaches classes on both subjects in both the beginner and more advanced catagory. Chris is the author of two ongoing astrology columns one in The Jersey Shore Holistic and the other online at redbank.com. Both Chris and his mother have appeared on television and extensively in the printed media. We welcome your business and if you are looking for something we don't have often we can order it.
