Rates: Your Wedding - A guide to fees, , Most wedding celebrants tailor their fees to take into consideration the requirements of each couple. This is what I do. , Some celebrants don't disclose their fee information on their websites. I provide you with this guide as I feel I offer a professional service for an appropriate fee. , Celebrants generally charge more than the NSW Registry Office (which charges $378 for a standard weekend wedding) as a celebrant's fee needs to cover:, •travelling to the venue of your choice (instead of the registry office which can only hold a small number of guests) , •designing a ceremony to suit you (instead of having the stock standard service offered at the registry office) , •giving you more time and flexibility for your wedding service, •handling all paperwork and legalities for couples, •preparing a presentation copy of your wedding ceremony, •provision of a Public Address System , •insurances , •keeping resources up to date, •professional development , My fees start from $500 and include all of the above. , The lower end of the fee scale would apply if you wanted to get married on a weekday evening (Monday - Thurs) or wanted a very simple wedding, with only your witnesses, that was conducted in your home office, for example. , The higher end is for peak time weekend weddings - Most weekend weddings (Fri - Sat - Sun) cost $500 - $650.
