Skill/Service Details: Member of the Victorian Astrologers Association; I hold a Diploma of Advanced Astrology (Astro*Synthesis) 2005.
A consultation lasts 1-1/2 hours and can be recorded (digitally) if you wish. You will then be given a CD to play either on your computer or CD player. I can tape it but you’d have to bring the tape and let me know in advance. In addition, you will be given charts and copies of printed material (transits, natal reports, etc.) which will be found on the CD.
Natal Astrology
The natal reading gives a general overview of a person. It can cover talents, personality, relationships with parents and vocational guidance. The insights gained during a natal astrology reading can be of lasting benefit in helping people understand themselves and their expectations. Predictions are sometimes included for the coming year.
Turning Points
An astrology chart can clearly show those moments when people reach a turning point in their lives. These moments offer great opportunities for success and personal achievement.
Relocation & Travel
Moving to a new city or country can affect your chart. You can plan ahead by looking at which part of the world different parts of your chart become active. Where would you be happier, meet a partner, have a good holiday?
Horary Astrology
Horary astrology is a branch of astrology that deals with answering a question by studying the astrological chart set for the exact time and place of asking a question.
It differs from the well known natal astrology, which gives insight on the entire life of a person. From a horary astrology chart, one can find the answer only to that
specific question. that generated it. The basis of horary astrology were set by the ancients and the horary art was brought to perfection by the 17th century British
astrologer William Lilly, wno emphasizes the necessity of forming the question correctly: "Those that take
this sober course, shall find the truth in what they enquire after; but whosoever do otherwise, deceive both themselves and the artist; for a foolish Querent may cause a wise Respondent to err, which brings a scandal upon the Art amongst inconsiderate people, whereas the Astrologer is not blameable, but the ignorant, silly Querent." Of course, having a wise astrologer on hand to help you form your question, is also useful.
Esoteric Astrology
The esoteric consultation can offer information on spiritual purpose, ways of overcoming problems blocking spiritual growth, your unique service to humanity, and other deeper issues. I have a special interest in women’s mysteries and our connection to the Great Goddess.
Solar Returns
This is an ancient method I use to determine how your year is going to be from your birthday onwards, for one year. Similar to horary, but this time I read the chart for when the Sun returns to its exact natal position. The Sun does not always return to its natal position on the exact day and time that you were born. The point is here that I look at the chart for the year and tie it in with your natal chart to see if any of the ‘promises’ shown in the natal chart will come true that year. It is a time honoured predictive technique, which allows you the luxury of planning your life around what part of your life will be highlighted for the year. And, a great way to find out what’s happening for you in the coming year!
