Pregnancy is a unique time in a woman's life - one that is rich with hopes, dreams, and fears. I truly believe that when a woman takes time out to be with herself and her evolving feelings, the whole family benefits.
I have been fascinated by pregnancy and childbirth for many years, and am the mother of a much-wanted child born at home nearly ten years ago. Since then I have continued my learning journey around birth, both through formal study and from the sisterhood of women who have shared their own motherhood experiences with me. Over the years I have also been privileged to support a number of women and babies through their birth journeys and witness the special miracle of childbirth at first hand.
