Reiki is a natural system of energy healing, usually described as universal life force or universal energy. Reiki uses a “hands-on” healing approach which originated in Japan in the 20 th Century. The “ki” in Rei-ki refers to the energy known as life force. Other names for life force that originate from around the world are Prana or Chi.
Reiki creates deep relaxation and aids the body to release stress, toxins and tension. It helps accelerates the body's self-healing abilities, assists with sleep, Reduces blood pressure, can help with accute (injuries) and chronic problems (asthma, eczema, headaches, etc.) and helps to relieve pain, Removes energy blockages, adjusts the energy flow of the endocrine system bringing the body into balance and harmony, supports the immune system, increases vitality , helps spiritual growth and emotional clearing.
Long term practice of whole-body reiki will assist in restoring the general condition of the body. It will open the energy channels and this will allow the body to deal properly and naturally with stress and build-up toxins and cope with anxiety and depression.
When a person is in good health, regular therapy will assist in increasing the bodies built-in defences. This will manifest itself as increased energy, vitality, confidence, ability and outward harmony in dealing with everyday events. The person will gain a positive mindset in life.
Reiki will also help to provide additional energy required to recover from illness.
A Reiki healing session can induce an extremely comfortable state of being that can bring alteration in the clients consciousness.
If used with other natural therapies (meditation, crystals, aroma therapy, Bach Flower remedies, homeopathy, etc.) Reiki will reinforce their effect.
Reiki can be considered as complimentary care as, Reiki is truly a complementary care. It complements and enhances the health care the patient receives in the hospital or from other health care providers.
Sessions are also beneficial as a preventative measure of future illnesses. Reiki sessions creates balance within the individual and rids the body of negative energies and influences. It is, therefore, and integral part of healthy living.
Rates: Reiki-$60.00 per session, Reiki and Crystals-$70.00 per session, Reiki and Siran/Sedna energy/symbol work-$70.00 per session, A minumum of three sessions is recommended, but effects will start to take place after just one session. However, based on individual healing needs it is not uncommon for individuals to require more sessions as felt is needed.
