Skill/Service Details: As Community Herbalist Anne believes that we live in an amazing world where each little thing is interconnected in a matrix of minerals, plants, and animals. A world that goes deeper than the physical nature most people barely glance at as they hurry about in their busy lives and offices.
“Our medicine and health usually grow right outside our doors, yet we do not even know it and spray away our health with ‘Round-up’. Or dig them out, never knowing that these amazing little plants were put here for our use.” She is known to say.
Anne has been studying healing arts since 1997 during which time she has studied a varied of Energy Healing methods- is a Reiki Master/teacher, Reflexology, Shamanic healing, and is studying third degree wicca.
She began her Study of Herbalism in 1998. During this course she studied: Anatomy and Physiology, Pathophysiology, Ayurvedic medicine, Bach Flower Remedies, West Coast Plant Identification, Matrix System Physiology and Iridology.
She created a Herbal Materia Medica of over 150 herbs, completed numerous case studies and assisted with some lessons, while attending school.
She provides herbal consultations and teaches classes for Culinary, Medical and Magical Herbalism. Most Classes take place in her own garden, The Dandelion Haven, and throughout the lower mainland. Please contact her for a list of up coming classes.
Class teach a wide range of material on all things herbal from creating your own container herb garden, growing plants from seed to creating herbal remedies and magical charms.
Family Friendly classes include: “What did you put in your mouth? Should I call poison control: Knowing what’s eatable in the yard” and “Weeds: Kids eat dirt, why not Dandelions?” and “Create a Herbal First Aid Kit”

Rates: Rates vary depending on course time and materials/supplies needed. General cost is $10 for each hour of a course per person. (Kids always free.) , Consultations suggested donation: $40, cost of herbs separate. , Travel time and costs will factor into course costs as gas prices are ridiculous in Vancouver. , Costs are ALWAYS subject to negotiation, trade or barter. Anne NEVER turns people away because of money issues.
