Skill/Service Details: The ancient ritual theatre techniques of the old nomadic players provide a fascinating insight into early ritual theatre. From folk tales involving music and dance and mime to personal expression, Jal Folk Theatre Company works on projects which gives individuals an opportunity to bring their own theatre skills on to the stage. With outlets for performing at the Goddess Shows all over the UK, Patrick Jasper Lee (author of We Borrow the Earth, Beyond A Near Water and Through Forest Mist, also Gypsy Goddess CD of music) , provides workshops and demos involving key elements of ancient ritual drama.
He is available for performance, talks, workshops to groups and welcomes hearing from interested individuals/groups.
Indigenous Romani, Patrick Jasper Lee is the Performance/Workshop Co-ordinator for Boktalo Promotions at the Goddess Shows UK. He is also Artistic Director of the Jal Folk Theatre Company, with experience in performance, music, mime and gypsy folk dance. He has also an indigenous Chovihano in his family line.
