Reiki is a Japanese healing technique, similar to the laying on of hands. You lie down fully clothed on a massage table, while the Reiki Practitioner holds their hands above, or lays their hands on the client lightly. You may feel some warmth or heat coming from the practitioner’s hands. Reiki Energy can help you to heal both mentally, spiritually, and physically. The energy of Reiki can help to heal you on all levels. Most find reiki “treatments” or sessions to be very relaxing, and some people even fall asleep while being treated.
What is a Reiki Practitioner?
A Reiki practitioner has been “attuned” or “initiated” to the Reiki healing energy, which many of us believe, comes from the Universal power source. Some call this source God, Goddess, or the Divine…. Others call it the universal power source. A practitioner has been connected to this healing energy by a Reiki Master, and can direct this energy to someone else through their hands, to stimulate healing in their physical and spiritual being, by giving a Reiki Treatment. Reiki practitioners are not doctors, and do not diagnose illness, nor do they need to touch you to work Reiki. Reiki can be done from a distance as well, without the client being touched.
Rates: What does this cost?, Ariadne (Lisa) does Reiki treatments for $75 for 60 minutes.
