We are a fairly new midwifery practice now accepting clients in the Inland Empire. We believe that a woman and her body know best how to labor and deliver a baby safely. Birth is a sacred rite of passage for woman, and this sanctity has been taken from too many of us for too long.
If you are interested in staying empowered throughout your pregnancy, you may be thinking of staying out of a hospital.
You may already know that the cesarean rate in the United States is an alarming 31% of all births, compared to the World Health Organization's recommendation of 10-15%.
You may understand that as a magical woman giving birth is one of the most amazing things you can ever do.
You know intrinsically that if allowed to do so, your body will tune in to ancient rhythms, and will get you and your baby through labor and delivery.
Let us help you get a birth team together that will encourage and empower this sacred act. Whether you want to have your baby at home or in our birth center, our midwives will be happy to assist you.
Our package includes prenatal exams, nutrition advice, labor and delivery, and postpartum check ups. We also provide well woman care in our our offices at the AquaNatal Birth Spa.
Our senior midwife started as a lay midwife in San Diego in the 1970's and moved on to health care administration, starting her own online school for insurance coding. She is a patient advocate, returning to her love of midwifery in 2003. She is now a Certified Professional Midwife and a certified HypnoBabies instructor. She has four children and one granddaughter.
Our administrative director is thrilled to be getting out of the corporate world and back to holistic work. She is a healer and a Wiccan high priestess and is following in her mother's footsteps by studying to become a midwife herself.
