~About Serenity Haven~
Serenity Haven was created by Krystle Hope in April of 2012.
Krystle used belly dance to take back her body and regain control over her life. She was empowered by belly dance to be a confident Goddess that loves and respects herself and it is her mission to empower other women with belly dance through Serenity Haven.
Serenity Haven offers belly dance classes, workshops, private lessons, and events, as well as yoga. Class locations include Ringwood, Richmond, Woodstock, and Antioch.
~About Krystle Hope~
Krystle Hope is a mother, a military wife, and a passionate belly dancer dedicated to empowering women through belly dance.
Interested in this ancient art form since she was a child, Krystle has been practicing belly dance for over five years. She has been mentored by Dolphina of GoddessLife. An LA-based belly dancer, Dolphina has starred in numerous instructional DVDs and has appeared on several television shows including Ellen, Conan, Sex and the City, and The View. Krystle is a certified Goddess Workout Belly Dance Instructor through GoddessLife.
Krystle practices and teaches Goddess belly dance, also called spiritual belly dance or sacred belly dance. This style of belly dance is used as a way to connect with the divine feminine, nature, and even religious deities depending on spiritual beliefs and practices. It can be used to raise and ground spiritual energies and can play a role in sacred rituals.
Goddess belly dance has helped Krystle over come her self-conscious demeanor and poor body image and has inspired her to start living a healthier lifestyle, something that she shares with her students. Krystle is on a lifelong journey to empower women to see the confident and beautiful Goddesses they really are, and she is learning more about herself every step of the way.
In addition, Krystle is a certified yoga instructor through YogaFit.
