Reflexology is the study of the reflexes of the feet corresponding to every part of the body. It is a compression technique applied to a specific point, or reflexes, on the feet and hands that relate to all organs and parts of the body to improve circulation and elimination, normalize body rhythms, and reduce stess. Working on these reflexes relaxes tension and helps the body to seek it's own equilibrium.
Reflexology is NOT a foot massage. Massage rubs on the skin and affects muscles. Reflexology is subcutaneous and affects spots below the skin with compression, not rubbing.
Reflexology falls into the branch of alternative medicine therapies. Relaxed Soles Reflexology takes a more holistic approach incorporating mind and soul, in addition to body, to reflect a balance of well-being.
Relaxed Soles Reflexology is a home based business serving the South Bend, Elkhart, and Niles area. Sessions can be done in my home, or I can travel to clients.
