Our counseling service offers the opportunity for confidential conversation and supportive reflection for most any life situation. Whether you are dealing with grief and loss, emotional conflict, difficult choices, feelings of guilt, the dilemma of a changing life, or simply need someone to talk with about sensitive matters, we can help. All clients are treated with dignity and respect, guaranteed confidentiality, and welcomed with a non-judgmental and open minded perspective. We are particularly sensitive to the needs of the Pagan and Wiccan communities, and have a deep understanding of issues we face regarding acceptance, marginalization, and discrimination.
W.T. Jeffrey is a dedicated professional, and holdsa B.A. in Sociology and Religion and Master of Divinity degree from an accredited Theological seminary. He has spent over 25 years working as a professional clergyperson, and has a rich background working with individuals, families, and groups, has done conflict management, grief and loss seminars, and diversity training. "Jeff" is a professional member of the American Counselors Association.
Early on Jeff drew deeply from indiginous faith traditions, Taoist thought, and he continues to embrace the traditional pagan motifs of his Celtic heritage. This combined with his passion for sociology, anthropology, and years of ministry rooted in postmodern thought gives him an open perspective which makes him quite accessible to most life situations.
W.T. Jeffrey's work today as a devoted Earthist and Pagan is non-religious, but rooted in what he describes as secular faith. His book "The Earthist" is a wonderful bridge between faith and science, and something we highly recommend. As an Earthist he is an advocate for faith in life, in evolution, and in the processes of the universe which have brought us to where we are today.
W.T. Jeffrey's perspective in counseling is straightforward and honest, but sensitive and attentive to the needs of our clients. He is deeply commited to confidentiality, ethical integrity, and the frequent application of common sense. The Earthist/Pagan perspective he draws from is somewhat cutting edge. It is respectful of medical and psychological disciplines, draws significantly from social models of community, and while non-theological in context, is atuned to the faith based questions which underlie most of life's dilemmas.
