Custom Wands

Skill/Service Details: Carved Wooden Wands.
Over 15 years experience in Arts and Crafts in general. Yet in the last 3 years have branched out to hand carved wands. I craft wooden wands and can both personalize to an individual or to a task (ie. Sabbath, Esbat, Healing, etc...)
A couple of shops have agreed to carry my Heirloom Quality Wands: "Pandora's Bazaar" in Florida, and "In the Hands of Angels" in Maysville Kentucky. There has been possitive feed back on the craftsmanship and on the unique designs carved.
I have crafted from a variety of woods. However, the following are woods that I have worked with the most: Maple, Oak, Pine, Ceder, Apple, Willow, and Elm.
Each wood used to craft a wand is chosen with respect to the tree itself and the intended use. I also have several types of scripts (fonts) and runes (ie. Thebian and Angerthas Runes) that are used for engraving to personalize a wand further.
I always leave room somewhere for a personal rune of glyph to be added by the owner.
My intent when carving these beauties is for them to last several life-times. These are Heirloom Quality Wands that are crafted.
Rates: Rates are according to the complexity of the carving to be done. anywhere from $20 - $100. , Prices vary due to complexity of carvings and the time it takes me to craft the ritual wand. Thickness or thiness of wood has nothing to due with setting of prices. Nor does the type of wood used for the wand. Only the time (complexity of carving) has anything to do with my prices.
