Skill/Service Details: I offer counseling appointments in downtown Northampton, MA as well as Skype sessions. I may be able to do outreach to some locations as needed. I have a masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and I am also a passionate student of the mystery traditions, The Old Ways, ancestor work, Celtic shamanism and plant spirit medicine. I am also a priestess, first degree initiate of the Wells Tradition and a member of Raven’s Well Coven. My role in the coven includes co-creating and co-leading Sabbats, Esbats and dedication ceremonies. I work with clients on a variety of challenges including grief and loss, mood issues, spirituality, gender identity, transition and, sexuality. I have been working in the mental health field for approximately 17 years in a variety of settings including outpatient, residential, inpatient and schools. I offer a 20 minute face to face consultation free of charge (or phone if you prefer) to potential clients to see if we might be a good fit.
I am also currently (Fall/Winter 2012-2012) co-leading a montly group at Awen Tree in Easthampton focused on beating the Fall & Winter Blues. Here is some info about the group:

Katherine Pangborn. M.A. holds a masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Seattle and is a passionate student of the mystery traditions, The Old Ways, ancestor work, southern conjure work, Celtic shamanism and plant spirit medicine. She has a private psychotherapy practice in downtown Northampton where she works with clients on a variety of challenges including gender identity, transition, sexuality and spirituality. Diane Boutin, M. Ed, HHC, AADP, has been teaching since 1980. She holds a Masters of Education from American International College in Springfield, MA . She is a trained presenter by The Foundation for Children and the Responsive Classroom, in Turners Falls, Ma and enjoys creating and presenting interactive workshops to adults . She is currently, co-presenting a yearlong workshop entitled, From The Mundane to the Magickal .Diane is a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, in New York City and is a certified Health Coach. She is the Founder and Director of, Circle of Holistic Health, where she works as a Health and Wellness Guide. Diane is a Priestess of The Temple of Sophia (Sisterhood of Priestess, Healers, Intuitives and Alchemist ) which is a Mysteries School, where she trained as a Shamanic Healer, Plant Spirit Medicine practitioner, and Wisdom Keeper of the Munay Ki, and Reiki. She practices and teaches Earth based Spirituality.Diane uses her years of experience as a teacher, presenter, intuitive and healer to create a safe learning environment which is conducive to learning, sharing and growing.

Rates: I have a goal of making counseling affordable and accessible. I prefer not to turn away someone in need of services if I can help! I have a standard rate of $75 per session but frequently negotiate with clients to accomodate individual financial situations. I have been able to work with students and minimum wage earners using sliding scale payments or payment plans. I have had some success with clients getting insurance reimbursement.
