Custom-made Ritual Clothing and Costumes

Offered by: Raven Kaldera

Located in: Hubbardston, Massachusetts
Skill/Service Details: Raven Kaldera has many years of experience designing and creating ritual wear, unique clothing, historical garb, wedding/handfasting wear, and custom costumes for all occasions. Whether you want a Cretan Snake Goddess dress for the next time you aspect Ariadne, a simple cloak to wear around town, or matching ritual robes for your whole coven, we can create the perfect custom garment for you, for less than you might think. We can also suggest appropriate clothing for working with nearly any deity, pantheon, historical period or ritual setting.
We don't believe in off-the-rack business. All work is custom made to your specifications, with fittings are done at Raven's home in Central Massachusetts. Garments with a very simple fit, such as cloaks, can be made off of measurements you send us but we will need you to come in for at least one fitting for most garments.
Don't worry if your idea of the perfect outfit is a little unusual. Just about any outfit you can describe in detail, Raven can make. We will gladly make SF/Fantasy costumes as well. Do keep in mind that the outfits of some fictional characters violate several laws of physics (or require advanced robotics!) and will require some modification to fit the human form. However, if your idea merely violates several laws of good taste or public decency, don't worry. We won't tell.
Raven has extensive experience in crafting garments to fit and flatter people of all shapes and sizes. We can also tailor, modify or customize clothing you already have. We are happy to include certain colors, materials, charms, patterns or symbols in the crafting of the garment, to suit its ritual purpose. We can also make bags, altar cloths, dream pillows, poppets, plush items, and other small sewing projects.
Contact Raven at cauldronfarm@hotmail.com, or by phone at 978.928.4198, for a price quote.
Rates: The cost of any garments depends on how long it takes to make it. A simple cloak would cost around $40, while an Elizabethan gown would obviously cost significantly more. If you tell us what your budget is, we will tell you what we can provide. Please contact us by phone or email for a free quote (978.928.4198 or cauldronfarm@hotmail.com) . We generally prefer that you shop around for the perfect material after the initial consultation. This gives you complete control over the style and quality of materials used, to best fit your tastes and budget. If you prefer, we can purchase materials for you, but a non-refundable deposit is required.
